Brown Bags

The brown bag series is a discussion showcasing University of Wisconsin faculty and student work. These are held on alternating Thursdays from 12:00pm-1:30 pm in the Social Science Building.

Lectures

The Speaker Series brings leaders in the field of the social study of science, technology and medicine to campus several times each year. This section provides abstracts and information about speakers.

Workshops

Workshops organized by Holtz Center members or co-sponsored by the Center are held periodically. STS-related workshops are posted in this section.

On Campus

Holtz Center faculty are centrally involved in many activities related to the study of science, technology and medicine. This section lists conferences, guest speakers and other activities on campus of interest to the STS community.
